You can now cook a Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille seven-finger-high pork chop at home.
The Houston-based business announced on Tuesday that it has launched Perry’s Steakhouse Online.
There’s still time: Houston Restaurant Weeks extends through September
The online market offers the steakhouse’s signature pork chop, available in a 32-oz. dinner portion (one for $49; two for $95) or 18-oz. lunch portion (two for $49; four for $95).
Each chop is rubbed with proprietary seasoning and cured, then roasted on a rotisserie with pecan wood.
Orders are shipped fully cooked and flash frozen with ice packs, a container of steak butter and thawing and heating instructions.
“We’ve received multiple requests from patrons who have moved away to areas without access to our restaurants, and have requested ways to enjoy our famous chop,” president and owner of Perry’s Chris Perry said in the release. “Now, we can give those and others exactly what they want by extending Perry’s ‘Rare and Well Done’ experience into homes. As a bonus, individuals and companies can send the chop as a gift to anyone, anywhere in the U.S.”
